Seda Saar is a British educated artist and architectural designer who moved to the US after completion of her studies,
at London Metropolitan University, UK. Following decades of architectural design work as an award winning themed entertainment designer for major Hollywood studios, Saar has been recording her own experience of the built environment as inspired by the modernist artists and architects, at her Neutra Museum Residency, observing and recording studies of light as it passes through various media. Her explorations include paintings, installation and mixed media works employing geometries and projection lines normally found on spatial representation.
A mix of illusion and reality, her work brings a fresh perspective of light, using geometric abstraction as a metaphor for life.
